ALONG THE ELBE CYCLE ROUTE FROM HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ TO KUKS

Trip to Kuks

From Hradec Králové you can easily get to Kuks thanks to perhaps the most important cycle route in our country. This is the Elbe cycle route, which will take you along the Elbe for about 30 km to the aforementioned Kuks. This trail is not very demanding and also runs most of the time on asphalt and avoids roads with traffic. It is therefore also suitable for families with children. You can also easily reach Dvůr Králové and its famous zoo and safari.

There are many attractive tourist destinations along the Elbe Route, both natural and cultural and historical. The length of the whole cycle route is about 1300 km and it runs along the entire Elbe river to Germany. Among the interesting destinations in the Hradec Králové Region are the already mentioned Kuks Hospital, Les Království, the Dvůr Králové Zoo and Safari, the Josefov Fortress, the Elbe Spring and the Krkonoše National Park. In the Pardubice Region, you can take this cycle route to Kunětická hora, Břehy or the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem. In the Central Bohemian Region, the route will take you to Kolín, Poděbrady, Nymburk or Mělník.
