ALONG THE CYCLE TRAIL TO PARDUBICE AND KUNĚTICKÁ HORA

If you head to the other side from Kuks, you can take the Elbe cycle route to Pardubice and climb Kunětická hora (Kunětice Mountain). However, this route sometimes runs along roads with normal traffic. Now the construction of the “Hradubice” cycle path is underway, which will connect Hradec with Pardubice. Even so, this route is worth checking out because of the tourist destinations. In Pardubice you can visit the Renaissance castle and the adjacent city centre and then head to Kunětická hora, which is a very pleasant place to visit and relax at.

There are many attractive tourist destinations along the Elbe Route, both natural and cultural and historical. The length of the whole cycle route is about 1300 km and it runs along the entire Elbe river to Germany. Among the interesting destinations in the Hradec Králové Region are the already mentioned Kuks Hospital, Les Království, the Dvůr Králové Zoo and Safari, the Josefov Fortress, the Elbe Spring and the Krkonoše National Park. In the Pardubice Region, you can take this cycle route to Kunětická hora, Břehy or the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem. In the Central Bohemian Region, the route will take you to Kolín, Poděbrady, Nymburk or Mělník.
