Castle cycle path along the Orlice River
Častolovice, Kostelec nad Orlicí, Doudleby and Potštejn
Along the wild Orlice River between Lípa nad Orlicí and Potštejn there runs the Castle Cycle Route. Here you can explore the castles of Častolovice, Kostelec nad Orlicí, Doudleby and Potštejn by bike. In addition, Potštejn Castle also offers guided tours where you can take part in a fairy tale story. If you feel like it, you can also climb the ruins of Potštejn Castle. In the section between Hradec Králové and Lípa nad Orlicí you will also ride along the meanders of the Orlice River. We recommend shortening the return journey in some of the stretches by a train journey, as it is about 45 km from Potštejn to Hradec.
